General Questions

  • What kind of coating system do you use?

We use a high-performance polyurea coating system, which is stronger, more flexible, and more durable than traditional epoxy. It cures quickly and holds up well in high-traffic and high-impact areas.

  • How long does installation take?

Most projects are completed in just one day. You’ll typically be able to walk on the surface within 6 to 8 hours and return to full use by the next day.

  • What colors and styles are available?

We offer a wide selection of flake blends, colors, and finishes, allowing you to customize the look to fit your space. Our team will bring samples to your consultation so you can see your options up close.

  • Are your coatings slippery?

No. We add a textured flake system and a slip-resistant topcoat to help improve traction, even when wet. This is especially helpful on driveways, patios, and pool decks.

  • Do you offer financing?

Yes. We offer affordable financing options to help you move forward with your project without delay. Ask us about payment plans during your free quote appointment.

Garage Floor Coatings

  • Will hot tires damage the coating?

No. Our polyurea coatings are resistant to hot tire pickup, oil stains, and chemicals, making them ideal for garages that see daily use.

  • Can you coat around cabinets or built-in storage?

Yes. We work around most built-in features and can coat around garage cabinets, steps, and other fixed structures.

Driveway Sealing

  • Can I seal my driveway instead of replacing it?

In many cases, yes. If your driveway is structurally sound, sealing is a smart and cost-effective way to protect and enhance the surface. Sealing fills minor surface pores, strengthens resistance to moisture and chemicals, and helps preserve the concrete’s appearance without the need for a full replacement.

  • How does driveway sealing hold up to snow and salt?

Our professional-grade sealants are designed to stand up to South Dakota’s harsh winters. They resist damage from snow, ice, de-icing salts, and freeze-thaw cycles, helping prevent cracking, surface erosion, and staining. Regular sealing keeps your driveway looking better and performing longer through every season.

Patio Coatings

  • Will my patio be slippery when it rains?

We apply a slip-resistant topcoat designed to improve traction on outdoor surfaces. You’ll have a safer patio that’s easier to clean and maintain.

  • Can you coat around landscaping or uneven edges?

Yes. We carefully mask and protect landscaping, trim around uneven edges, and create a clean transition between your patio and the surrounding space.

Grind and Seal Services

  • What’s the difference between grind and seal and polished concrete?

Grind and seal offers a similar look to polished concrete but is completed in fewer steps. It involves grinding the concrete surface and applying a clear sealer, making it faster and more cost-effective than a full polish.

  • Does grind and seal work outdoors?

Yes. It can be used both indoors and outdoors. For exterior use, we apply a UV-stable, moisture-resistant sealer that protects against the elements.

  • Will the sealer change the color of my concrete?

Sealers may slightly darken the surface and enhance natural tones, depending on the concrete’s age and makeup. We’ll show you a test area during the process so you know what to expect.
